Standard 24hr turnaround - £1.20 per audio minute

 

Urgent 4hr turnaround - £1.30 per audio minute

This service involves typing on to a Word document and returning to you by email. 

 

I use Olympus Dictation Management System, though can be remotely connected to your Bighand queue if you wish.

 

For clients wishing me to work on their case management system, send out emails etc, I also offer a full legal secretary service at hourly or daily rates.  See "full legal secretary service" for prices and details.

 

 

 

Legal aid accounts

Chargeable at 7% of the value of the account, so a £100 account would attract a charge of £7.

My particular experience lies with Advice & Assistance and Civil Legal Aid time and line accounts.

 

I can create accounts online or in paper format, to suit your needs.

 

My years of experience mean I will highlight potential missed activities, such as where a perusal charge has been omitted from a bundle of documents or page count missed out, which would otherwise result in the work being abated.

 

I know what information the Board look for and will ensure your account is as accurate and as full as it can be, to attract speedy payment and minimal abatement.

Template documents and proofreading

Ideal for consultants and expert witnesses - have an easy to use style report created to use over and over again.  

 

Prefer typing your own reports? Then have your report proofread for spelling and grammar.

 

Proofreading

  • £25 per hour
  • 30 sheet report, estimate 90 minutes

Creation of template documents

  • £25 per hour
  • Medico legal report usual estimate 1.5hrs

 

 

 

 

Full legal secretary service

Hourly rate: £30

Daily rate: £240 (8hrs)

Half day rate: £120 (4 hrs)

 

I offer discounted rates for clients wishing to book me on a regular, retained basis.

This service includes audiotyping and legal aid accounts. 

 

Your work will receive priority.  You can expect all of the work of an in-house legal secretary to be undertaken, including:

  • taking phone calls
  • creating and sending correspondence
  • charging through your perusals, meetings, court times
  • creation and lodging of court documents including writs, motions, ET1s, ET3s
  • telephone calls with your clients to take affidavits.

Though usually provided remotely, I will consider requests to work in your office, and will quote for travel time and mileage.
